When I see that stupid logic I always think of #Freakonomics and the dangers of safety.

Haven't seen a podcast decline as much as Freakonomics. From highlighting importat behavior economics to platforming a medical "professional" saying "trump derangement syndrome is real" without any pushback at all.
The other recent episodes were series on a single christian song and how horses are being traded by billionaires. Maybe it's a good time to shut freakonomics down 😬

I just finished watching a book talk with author Stephen Dubner celebrating the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite books, Freakonomics.
Interesting stuff. It was cool to hear about the behind-the-scenes of how the books and podcasts are put together, and how a simple conversation with the right person can spark enough curiosity to inspire a deep dive of almost any subject, even to someone with little to no background in it.
How will the increase of the the elderly population impact society?

#Commodity traders are exploiting #wars, #geopolitics and #crisis. They have political connections they leverage to make deals. And Trump has eased rules on #sustainability https://freakonomics.com/podcast/the-most-powerful-people-youve-never-heard-of/ #podcast
