You can almost make out some images but they are almost too foggy to be useful. #filmisnotdead #shootfilmbenice #foundfilm
The wife picked up a couple of free Agfa boxes from the grab bin at the local camera store. At a cursory glance they seem to be in working order and one even had a roll of Perutz 21 on the uptake spool. Threw that in some Rodinal 1:100. Wish me luck.

Folluw up: I developed the ancient roll of 120 film I found in the Goodwill Mamiya and found four, faint, nearly identical, images all taken out of the same window. Very faint, heavily fogged on the edges (who knows how many times this camera was opened up over the years with that roll in there). Not exactly the most exciting find but thus ends the mystery of the undeveloped film from

The only thing better than getting a fully functional, clean, vintage TLR at Goodwill is discovering that it contains a roll of exposed film that has never been developed! Woot! Heating up my C-41 chemistry right now, fingers crossed for something interesting to develop! #foundfilm #filmphotography #mystery #120film #mamiya #mediumformatphotography

I sometimes buy old used single-use cameras so I can develop the film inside. Here are some #foundfilm scans from a recent-ish batch with expiration dates of 15-25 years ago. #filmphotography #throwback #photography #expiredfilm
Another from the #FoundFilm file. This picture was mounted in Sarnia, #Ontario in 1890. I have no idea who any of these people are.

A family portrait. An older man in suit and tie, I assume the patriarch, is seated on the left. He is a bit bald and has a beard of a couple of inches but it looks mostly from under his bottom jaw. Maybe this was a power look at the time. He is supporting what might be his grand daughter who is standing on his lap. A woman is standing in the middle, and another is seated to the right. I suggest these are daughters of the man. Both have their hair up, but the one seated has really dressed up with a bow in her hair and a corsage on her shirt. I feel that this is the mother of the child. Lastly, on the right is an older woman - the matriarch. She has a scarf around her neck and some jewellery on the scarf.
There is not much in the background - just some kind of lamp on the right. I suggest this was the studio who mounted the picture.
