My knees adequately exercised with low-impact strolling, I ascended about two dozen steps, headed west, and got my view of the Hudson River from the heights of Fort Tryon Park after all.
Morning walk south, through Fort Tryon Park. I usually ascend the steep hill on the west side of the park, for the great views of the Hudson River, but today I chose to give my knees a rest and stick to the eastern edge, which hugs Broadway.
