Switching to an electric powertrain exposes weak electronics designs very quickly.

That’s what the Seagulls Lübeck Formula Student team experienced when moving from combustion to electric. Large parts of their low-voltage electronics had to be redesigned with predictable behaviour and robust fault handling in mind.
