New law idea: Interest on loans to individuals doesn't get to be compound. Interest only accrues on unpaid principal, not on unpaid interest. Once you have paid off all of the principal (i.e. the money you actually borrowed), interest stops accruing.
Interest would still be compound on loans to corporations; for example, a savings account, which is money that an individual loans to a bank.
