I used to go and watch The Latics regularly in the early 70s, with my Dad, when they were in the old Division 4, at Boundary Park, a.k.a. Ice Station Zebra.

Thoughts on the first half of Spurs Vs Liverpool...

Both teams squandered chances; Liverpool probably had the best of them.

The red card was justified.

Salah is a hell of a player.

So is Son. And Van de Ven.

Even though they are a man down, I can't say I'm massively confident of a Spurs victory in the second half. This is a fine Liverpool team.

But I am way more confident that I would have been in the same situation last season.
