Working List: USA’s tallest interchanges & flyover ramps – UPDATED

The following working list identifies the highway freeway interchanges and flyover ramps in the United States. Texas is and has been the leader in building stacked interchanges that are very tall. As land prices increase and older interchange designs (especially cloverleafs) prove to be outdated, more states are building them to reduce land acquisition costs and improve traffic safety and flow. Whenever more information becomes available online or through email communications, this list will be expanded and updated.

A minimum height of 40 feet at the interchange’s/flyover’s pinnacle over the surrounding grade is required for inclusion in the list.
