If Panos Cosmatos and Wes Anderson ever did a film together I would imagine it would be something along the lines of Flux Gourmet. This was surreal, seemingly an alternate universe in which social media does not grab such a hold on us and we find entertainment instead in things like culinary collectives (perfprmance groups combining food and sound). Glad I watched this. Original, different and genre-defying.
Did anyone else catch Flux Gourmet? Give it a shot if not.
If you like your movies a bit weird and surreal (but not in a cosmic horror sense, more in like a whimsical sense?) it might be up your alley.
