In February 2023, Camden’s Full Council agreed a new seven-year, annual £4mn investment programme for Camden’s voluntary and community sector (VCS) to respond to the needs of Camden’s communities.
“The Community Partner Fund is a key part of this overall programme, providing unrestricted core grants over a seven-year period from April 2024 to March 2031 to Camden VCS partners who are deeply rooted in their communities and deliver significant social change,” states a report on the funding.
In total 38 VCS organisations across the borough will receive seven-years of grants. Four currently funded Strategic Partner Fund recipients that were unsuccessful in their applications will receive “transition funding” for two years from April 2024 to March 2026 “to mitigate the impacts associated with withdrawing funding”, stated the report.
