@charlotteclymer I’m speculating, and I feel bad about that; but I feel like I can safely assume that the 39 Republicans have family who are LGBTQ. The issue had to affect them personally before they could have empathy.
This toot is “part of the problem”, but I’m just feeling EXHAUSTED with the lack of empathy among Republicans.
