There are times when I miss access to my research community on other sites. Recently, a very close colleague died suddenly and unexpectedly. All the well-wishes, celebration of his life and his impacts has been on these sites, only because that community refuses to give up Twitter and Facebook. This is why I am so angry with Zuck and Musk. I don't need huge numbers of followers to feel special, I just want a platform to casually interact with my colleagues, and they ruined it. #FeelingSad #grief

Now off to hospital to visit my poor mum who isn’t doing very well. Hoping to get her home very soon #FeelingSad
