A thought from us on open registration...

We understand that open registration removes the overhead of having to approve like, every account. Buuuuut it also cuts way down on harassment, spam accounts, scam accounts. And tbh it lets you grow your instance (if that's your goal) at a rate you can sustain, right?

We operate on an invite only model, BC we are all busy and being a mod / admin takes work. But it also means we can keep up with mod stuffs. And better, we actually KNOW the ppl on our instance. They're not faceless ppl and we're not faceless mods.

So like... please consider closed / approval based registration, vet your users. It'll be a better time for all of us.

Well. Maybe.

So, we do check each report for rules violations. We don't just trust other instances' reports. So IF your instance is similar to ours and IF you trust our checks then yes, probs.

I might add "Or pay me for doing your moderation work." at some later point.

Die Idee ist für #FediSingles eine #Flohmarkt Instanz aufzusetzen, hätte denn wer Lust mit zu Moderieren? Wäre natürlich erstmal nur ein Pilotprojekt.

Es gäbe sogar schöne nTDL's .date oder .love.
Ok es bleibt nur fedi.love, für fedi.date will an 331.04€ für die registrierung...
