We're adding mastodon.cloud to our #Fediblock list due to the instance seemingly being abandoned with open signups and zero moderation. The burden of us suspending accounts locally is not practical when the instance is out of date and not being maintained.

It's been flagged since August last year - https://social.growyourown.services/@FediTips/115027342813989021 so I don't see it likely that anything is suddenly going to change.

Its admin account hasn't posted since Feb 2023, its code of conduct is blank and there are vile racists posting from there. The racists have been reported many times but their accounts are still active. Because of this, other server admins are starting to block mastodon.cloud completely. Apologies for the blip there impacting a wide range of the sites we run ( #MastodonAppUK / #Universeodon / #FediMedi and for #MastoAdmin The Universeodon relay).

It looks like the NIC in one of our app servers had some sort of weird failure which prevented traffic on one of the two interfaces and due to it being setup in aggregation and not failover it caused a total outage of that server and all the VM's and CT's running on it.

We have also identified some issues with our secondary HAProxy instance which we need to get to the bottom of as things did not fail over as expected (Even though we know we haven't got full HA operational yet across all services because storage and RAM prices are through the roof and we need to add a third server for that).

Apologies again, we should be back to normal for now.

A very warm welcome to those that were on #MedMastodon that have made the jump over here to #FediMedi (Yes, you can tell I had such a creative naming scheme when I launched the new site).

We're running #GoToSocial which is new for me and has been a really good learning activity in itself, I'm still getting used to how everything works.

The instance (As far as I can see!) should allow folks to request accounts here which will allow me to make sure we aren't rapidly flooded by spam, the same restrictions we have on our two other Mastodon servers.

We're rocking a 2000 character limit at the moment.

I won't be super active in posting from this account, it's primarily a way for me to manage and administer the instance, you can follow @wild1145 for my general day to day ramblings!

Hatte gerade meinen Impfpass in der Hand und hab gesehen dass ich als Kind gegen alles nur nicht gegen Keuchhusten geimpft wurde. Das war mir zwar irgendwann mal bewusst (gab wohl als Baby/Kind wohl auch nen medizinischen Grund für) , aber hab das tatsächlich wieder vergessen.
Wie schauts da als Erwachsene aus, kann man sich da problemlos nach impfen lassen? Übernimmt das die KK?
