Working on the Hybridized-concepts.com website again. Still trying to get the ActivityPub module to work.
Still unable to find @[email protected] when I search it. Modified the NGINX config for error reporting. Maybe that will help me figure this out.
Will also be working on the Dirt Simple guide to hosting your own community as I go.
Found this Discussion on the NodeBB community forum. Seemed interesting related to the evolution of what the Federated Networks might be heading towards and what some folk feel on the subject.

Wondering if I am actually producing anything of value even just posting here.
I post on all socials right now but I really don't know if what I share is worth the effort to put out.
Gonna go do laundry and try and get some basic site setups working. No themeing today, just get basics online and start writing bits and pieces of stuff.
Do I bring anything of worth into the world from any of this?

Making 2FA mandatory for all admin and mods on the forums. Tempted to extend that to regular users.

Still working on fleshing out Forum topics on the five forums I built. So far no one has joined but that's fine at the moment.
Once I am happy with it I can find mods and another admin. Maybe. But I also want to build on my content Sites as well. Eventually someone will get ActivityPub working.
It makes keeping Community for comments and such seperate from the sites so I don't have to let unneeded users on their.
Keeping it nice and working.

So I had a thought.
So far I have built the NodeBB forums as suppliments for content Sites I plan to build for them.
NodeBB installs with a long form Blog section as a default. What's to stop me from using it like that while it being NodeBB allows others to come in and contribute ideas and such to the system?
Having Project catergoies and such maybe.

Eventually, once I get the actual site online. I will have a seperate area for discussion of articles from the page.
So, I got all the forums I wanted to build setup. Eventually I will probably need to shell out for a more expensive server, but for now this will have to do.
I just can't afford any more right now. And I still want to build some pages so I can afford more resources.
Working on Secondary setups now. Cloud storage and things of that nature.
I think I got federated connections properly configured though.
So I got one NodeBB forum functioning. Haven't confirmed
Federation is working yet.
Still kinda fighting the install, trying to get the Instagram import to work. So far nothing.
Trying to find #PixelFed accounts that are more travel oriented, but not sure I like how the search function is not available unless you are logged into an instance. Could just be me misunderstanding how the system works.
Advice is welcome.
