The recent spam-wave has been over for a while, but it won’t be the last. I’ve combed through the spam-infested instances we’ve blocked to see which ones bothered to clean up the spam. I consider instances that left the spam up after all these days to be unmoderated. If an instance cleans up the spam and makes a statement about it, I consider that evidence that moderation is back at the wheel and re-federate. If an instance cleans up the spam but don’t make any statement about it, I re-federate but leave it on federated-timeline-removal.

• Appears to be a racist pro-contact pedophilia-themed instance. I have not included receipts with sensitive media.
• One admin has swastikas in their profile bio and several variations on “total ___ death” featuring different marginalized groups.
• The other admin’s bio has blatant racism and antisemitism.
• MRF has a BlockNotificationPolicy which powers a block-notification bot with the handle “CunnyBlock”.
