I did some changes today to improve stability and performance of this instance and some other services.
I’ve been tinkering with parts of the system I mostly understand in theory but have very limited understanding of in a containerised system.
Sometimes I’m still in awe that I have control over a powerful machine with dozens of cores, GBs of RAM and TBs of disk that is able to run databases and stuff in containers and VMs. #FearMe!
(And it is even my own machine, and old.)
