Director Sepideh Farsi remembers Hassona for her talent, integrity and hope.
“I can’t tell you how devastated I am,” says Farsi.
She shares that Hassona had joyfully accepted the invitation to Cannes but had emphasized her desire to return to Gaza and remain on her family’s land.
