OmbreWith Fate's Bane, C. L. Clark has written a beautiful tale. In the Fens, two women in love try to build a future together, despite conflicting loyalties. Their only help is their craft, but is it enough against blades ? The author has well mastered the art of telling love. It makes for a tense story, with very human characters. No one is evil, but yet, they too often come to blow.
I'm currently reading Fate's Bane by C. L. Clark. It's been really great so far, with lots of feelings. I really enjoyed their trilogy Magic of the Lost too. It was a more militaristic story.
