Do they have stats on how posts reach people on #mastodon

I know Monsterdon is huge. Don't know how blocked sites change it.

In #tumblr there is a special feature that shows how posts travel. It makes a cool graph showing the root post and reach.

Does anyone know if the Fediverse could do that?

I just started posting to the #fandomFedi tag trying to find ways to make the fediverse a good home for fandom, and it seems you are already out there doing the good work.

Hosting and curating fanworks seems like something the fediverse should be able to do, but I have such difficulty figuring out how.

@Rozzychan I think you may find @javi 's reworking of misskey into a tumblr-like to be interesting.

Theoretically, I think Mobilizon could be used to schedule watchalong events, but there aren't many of those servers and even fewer in English, so I've never had the chance to play with it.

A #FandomFedi wiki might be a good idea, just to try to establish canonical hashtags.

All and All, this isn't something that can be solved in a day. A number of us will need to work together to make the #fediverse an easier place for fandoms to flourish.

Fans tend to be creative people, and when given friendly spaces to gather, they will care for them.

I appreciate any thoughts on how to shape the fediverse into a place where fannish people can flock. Thanks.

Fandom #watchalongs work best if announced in advance in a public post with a special hashtag so that some can follow and others can block it.

If the first posts are public, then those who want to find it can. Then make later posts unlisted in a single thread.

If there was a macro to make it easy, that'd be nice. Otherwise, there should be a site where people can learn #fandomFedi best practices. (Thus the previous wiki discussion)

Our problem is just figuring out how to fan here.
