1A) Favorite dynamic? I honestly hadn't thought about what "category" their relationship I prefer their relationship to fall under until now. Probably queerplatonic, particularly for my interpretation of their relationship in canon. (Though I have begun reading Victory Condition, an E-rated fic, and it's mind-blowingly good. (And I haven't even gotten to the smut yet!) So who knows, Astolat may convert me yet!)

4A) I don't really ship them as a sexual couple, and only occasionally read E-rated fics about the pairing, so I don't have any strong top/bottom preferences. But then, I headcanon Transformers in general as being on the ace spectrum. Except for in G1 and Beast Wars. Mainly because of the more comedic tones of those shows, and the quirks of sexual attraction can lead to bots seeking out people they otherwise wouldn't be able to stand, which is perfect for crackier relationships. :3

12A) To be honest I don't usually seek out rare tropes. Most of the fic I seek out for them tend to follow the same formula—halted love confessions or pining pre-war, or reconciliations post-war. The only possibly rare thing I can think of that I crave is a medieval type AU for them, but I haven't actively sought that out. I am the devourer of second cakes.

14A) Ooooh...to be honest I'm so happy with the interactions I see in gifs and official material that I don't usually seek out fanart of them. But I do love this one (Alt text: Megatron, wearing his miner uniform with hazard stripes, sits with Orion Pax, who has his mask off. They're both smiling and enjoying some Energon together.) It's rather sad that their prewar selves barely had a chance to interact on good terms in IDW, much less become close friends.

6B) Favorite version of their canon? That's so hard...I like all of the ones where they've had a personal history with each other. But I ultimately love Transformers: Exodus the best, since it's had such an impact on other origin stories of theirs, and on fanon interpretations of their relationship. It's a Transformers: Prime prequel novel, with excellent worldbuilding in general, but it also showed how different their worlds were, in terms of life experience. They had idealism in common, but their life experience was worlds apart. Even when Megatron showed Orion the brutality of gladiatorial combat in Iacon, he still didn't understand the extent of his oppression.

8B) I enjoy at least a little ambiguity. This fic, (recced by @soundwave!) plays with this ambiguity in a heartbreaking way.

14B) When there's sexual tension...unresolved. All the way! (Unless it's an E-rated fic, and I actively sought it out, but that isn't as often.)

Reposted from #FanChats55! If anyone would like to ask questions!   My most obvious ships are Megatron/Optimus and Sonic x Elise (I post pretty much exclusively about them). But I am still a multishipper. Some other ships I love are Sonic/Shadow, Amy x Metal, Jazz/Optimus, Optimus x Elita. You could also just ask me a question about a ship, and see if I've thought about it enough to have a headcanon for it.

Might not elaborate as much on the sexual questions at my discretion. Depends really 😅

The only real Notps that come to mind are Sontails, Silvaze, and Elise/any human (except Merlina, she's special :3)
