I don't seek out Whump fic, but I remember writing one when I was mad at the canon.
In the show #Sherlock , he was beaten, shot, drugged, damaged, so much happened to him, and they often expected him to go on without even acknowledging that he was now disabled and should at least be resting.
I wrote it to say "Hey! Give the guy a moment!"
Sometimes people post to say they hate the fic for not being fluff, but I felt satisfied after writing it.
