🍂 Cozy October in the Appalachia🍁

The mountains are glowing again as Summer turns into Fall: gold, amber, and crimson spilling down every ridge and holler. The air has that crisp, woodsmoke sweetness that only October brings. Mornings call for flannel and coffee on the porch with the #Yorkies, watching the fog lift through the trees, and evenings belong to fuzzy blankets, candlelight, and the soft crackle of the (electric) fireplace.

Out here, the leaves don’t just fall they dance to the ground. Every gust of wind sends a swirl of color across the yard, like nature’s confetti celebrating another #Appalachian autumn. 🌄

🍂✨ Freshly painted and ready for the fall season. The #Appalachian porch has never felt cozier. This sectional, with soft cushions, is now dressed for cooler nights, red, orange, and golden leaves, and the scent of firewood drifting through the mountains.

Fall in the mountains is an amazing experience of bonfires, hot cider and hot toddies, flannel shirts, and hiking boots.

Soon there will be crisp mornings, apple spice, and that sweet mix of pine and smoke. This little porch is ready to soak it all in and it is where you will find me every morning for a cuppa and every night for Happy Hour. Meanwhile, I'll wait it out and sit here sipping my iced tea before the colors start to spill across the Blue Ridge. 🍁🍎🌲
