One of the better frontends for Nethack is Falcon's Eye. This is a isometric rendering of the game which reminds one somewhat of Diablo, but of course not as dark.
It's nice because you have all these menus instead of keyboard shortcuts, and it can be entirely played with a mouse.
Unfortunately, Falcon's Eye is now not being maintained, but a fork was made that's called Vulture's Eye but that is unfortunately commercial these days.
