The big reveal toward the end of WHY the scientist became obsessed with creating the perfect humans was fascinating. A man who also could barely feel emotion watched an entire village die. Then he decided to recreate the villagers who, to him, were compassionate and perfect.

It was a lot. A lot, a lot.

But yea, overall - not a bad series. Interesting concept, well done art, mediocre plotlines - but does hit you emotionally from time to time in a good way.

One of the more interesting elements was 100 herself.

The fabricants were incapable of being able to actually truly have compassion or relate to other people. But, over time, 100 started to gain those feelings. Never fully, but at the end when she kills herself to destroy Fabricant 1, she does so both selfishly and selflessly at the same time.

She makes herself perfect, by destroying the thing trying to ruin everyone else (Fabricant 1).

It was...an interesting ending.

What started as a series about tracking down an enemy stealth style, added in too much about the group against fabricants to the point where it distracted from what was starting to make it interesting. It added in a super-power element to regular humans who came in contact with the fabricants. It was...an okay addition, but it felt a little forced.

When Fabricant 100 was on...it was well done and interesting. Getting brutal at times. But overall, it was only okay.

Ashibi's entire family was murdered by fabricants for their body parts. He may be next, but he offered a deal to 100 to help him take down ALL the other fabricants in exchange his body at the end, she obliged.

The series started focusing on 100 and Ashibi solo going after fabricants. Then it introduced us to a society of folks going after fabricants that Ashibi joined.

It kept building and building on the world's lore, but honestly this kept shifting the tone, for me.
