He points out that the risk if not allowing Ukraine hit deep into russia is that they could loose the war and result in dire future events for the west

Let me reiterate one more time that escalation risks associated with #Taurus deliveries are extremely minimal:

1) #russia already receives long-range strike weapons from third parties (#Iran and #NorthKorea)

2) #Ukraine already deploys similar weapon systems (#StormShadow #SCALP_EG)

3) #Germany has the option to impose targeting restrictions if deemed necessary (similar to what #France and #UK appear to have done) ⏩
