The more I think about today's Dominion settlement, the angrier I get. They took less than half of the damages they said was due. And they say they achieved "accountability", somehow.
Selfish, short-sighted, cowardly.

We must start a massive, effort across America to fight Fox "News".
If they can get skirt a gigantic, obvious lie about Dominion and the 2020 election with just a fine, they will do it again and again until our Democracy is ruined.
We need new legislation in the US Congress to address professional journalism standards.
We need real financial pressure on Fox News advertisers. Let's circulate a list and start boycotting them.

Fox Corp. just released a statement: “We are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute with Dominion Voting Systems. We acknowledge the court's rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false. This settlement reflects Fox's continued commitment to the highest journalistic standards.
This statement is NOT admitting they lied. And it's certainly NOT accountability.
I recognize Dominion deserves to get monetary damages in this Fox settlement. But by settling out of court there was absolutely no statement made by our judicial system about the undemocratic practices of Fox "News".
It seems quite selfish and short-sighted on Dominion's part.
Again I ask, "Who stands up for responsible journalism in America".
The #FOXvsDominion lawsuit will be a milestone in American history. Were it not for Fox "News" Trump would likely not have build as large a following.
If we are to avoid sliding into fascism, Fox "News" must be prevented from continuing to blatantly lie on air every day.
In a sense, this case is bigger and more critical than convicting Trump on any of his personal conduct crimes.
Free, responsible journalism in America hangs in the balance.
