On Friday, the #Dresden Science Night took place. This year, the Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders ( #FOVOG) and the Chair of Didactics of History of @tudresden cooperated and prepared a room with several stations all concerning the portrayal of #Monks, #Nuns, and religious #Orders in #Boardgames, #Comics, and #DigitalGames. #Introduction I am a historian working at the Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders ( #FOVOG) in #Dresden. The main focus of my work is the Order of St Anthony. Another interest is our modern perception of monasteries, monasticism (and the Middle Ages) and how they developed.
