Il titolo dello spettacolo non nasce proprio a caso: “Quando mi presento e dico che faccio spettacoli, la prima reazione è: ‘Ma quindi canti anche tu?’.- ha raccontato a Il Corriere della Sera – Allora devo ripetere sempre lo stesso ritornello: ‘Mi chiamo De André ma non canto, recito’. Ad un certo punto però ho capito che quella domanda era già uno spettacolo”.

Quando si diventa una leggenda poi è un po’ una fregatura perché non si può più ridere e scherzare, e invece mio nonno era un uomo che non amava prendersi troppo sul serio.
