Leaving the port at Shimizu, a few weeks ago now. Little glimpses of the sun are still special to me.
Fuji was shy for most of the day. A blanket of clouds hugged the mountain when we visited the Fuji museum. Amazing architecture and cool way to create a view of the mountain. When we returned to the ship at Port Shimizu she was less shy and put on a little show for us as the sunlight faded.
In the morning we took a forest trail and headed up to the lookout. The plan was to enjoy view of fuji from the high ridge, surrounded by a carpet of sakura trees in blossom. The rain had other ideas.

Here's a few textures from Uwajima. This little port is on the western side of Shikoku, south of Hiroshima. This was about a week ago. Still loads of sakura about then :)
