Verity covers well reasons to boycott Eurovision. I refrained from watching it since the genocide of the people of Gaza by the Israeli Army began in October 2023, that is this year and last year. It’s enraging to see the State of Israel’s song got second place this year: not only it wasn’t kicked out of the competition, but it was way too close to winning.
