Apropos #EnshittificationDay : I love #StackOverflow and I wouldn't know how to do my work without it; but that site is overdue for severe #enshittification, no? They have already had several clashes between mods and management, and IIUC those clashes resulted exactly from the mgmt.'s ideas of "extracting more value from the site".

I guess one day they will have a conflict that ends it all; and what do we do then? Is there a realistic Fediverse-based alternative?
