New York Could Prohibit Chatbot Advice on Medical, Legal, and Engineering Questions

New York Senate Bill S7263 would make chatbot operators civilly liable when AI answers questions across 14 licensed professions plus law. Disclaimers will not protect operators. A private right of action opens the door to serial litigation.
