I prefer #Gemini over #ChatGPT but I too have used AI to do medical "research" on issues that concern me I also recently used Gemini to assess a gastrointestinal problem that my GF was having.
She said no doctor had explained the problem in this way before & it gave it a better handle on what they had been doing to try to assess her problem. which still hasn't been solved but at least it gave her a broader context in which to assess it.
Doing this pissed my PCP so much because of the questions it generated for me to ask that he said that he was "no longer comfortable" being my PCP.
So I'm currently PCP-less but do not feel any loss or less cared for as a result because I never felt "cared for" by my now ex-PCP. Assignment of a new PCP is pending but I've been PCP-less before & don't feel the need to press for a new one.
