Shauna GMI came into the #ENGITA game pretty neutral, and came out disappointed in the result. Italy played with so much heart and England...didn't. England might also just be tired because Sarina Weigman refuses to rotate even though some of her best players are on the bench.
Still, bummer of an ending with the ref, who swallowed her whistle all game, handing England the game via a very soft penalty call.
I'm happy for Esme Morgan and Esme Morgan only. (Okay and Michelle Agyemang.)

I think England probably deserved it, hit the bar (glorious lob, so unlucky!) but I fail to see contention with the penalty. The Italian player's falling over the back of the England player, hands all over... You get handsy in the box, you're absolutely risking a penalty.
