When a young girl gets her period in many parts of the world it means she can’t attend school. Why? Because of the lack of access to menstrual products.

Please donate, so through Her Full Attendance we can help them gain the education they need.

To Her Full Attendance: A program to End Period Poverty.

We are excited to introduce our peer-to-peer campaign in support of "To Her Full Attendance," a program dedicated to ending period poverty across the globe, and we are starting in Eastern Africa. The goal of this initiative is to empower girls in primary grades by providing them with reusable hygienic pads, ensuring they can attend school without interruptions caused by menstruation. In partnership with AFRIpads, a Uganda-based manufacturing company and charity foundation, we are working to supply girls in remote villages with chemical-free, long-lasting pads. AFRIpads is widely recognized as one of the largest suppliers of reusable menstrual products to organizations like UNICEF and the United Nations. Their products, made with the highest safety standards, can last up to four years, ensuring girls remain supported throughout their education in Primary School.Period poverty remains a significant barrier to education in Eastern Africa. In remote areas, many girls as young as 11 and as old as 16 are still in primary school due to absenteeism caused by a lack of menstrual products. Although reporting in this social issue isn't customary, a lack of access to this basic necessity demonstrates a large number in temporary absenteeism in girls due to not having access, in turn contributing to a higher permanent dropout rate. Compounded by the stigma surrounding menstruation, many girls are left without the resources or understanding needed to manage their periods, leading to long-term setbacks in their education.Your support of this campaign directly helps tackle these issues head-on. By joining us, you're not only helping girls stay in school but also ensuring that they have access to the education they deserve, free from the challenges of period poverty.Let’s work together to ensure *her full attendance*!What your donation will do:* Every $2000 will trigger a purchase of a batch of 300 reusable hygienic pads, equaling to providing support for a minimum of 24 months for under $7 USD. (Rolling Target-the more we raise, the more we give)* Each package of AFRIpads contains 6 reusable pads and two carry pouches; providing 24/7 support with enough pads to rotate as necessary.* In partnership with our local nonprofits, every giveaway will provide girls with education on menstruation, pregnancy, how to prevent early pregnancy/marriage, how to prevent HIV/AIDS, and how to properly care for their new AFRIpads.

Food Banks Canada will be handing out free #MenstrualProducts to members of marginalized #LowIncome communities.

Gender Equality Minister Marci Ien announced the $17.9-million pilot project:

Canadians [shouldn't] have to choose between buying menstrual products and paying for essentials.

The financial strain of menstrual inequity is undeniably cruel, and exacerbates existing cycles of poverty.

Did you know that those experiencing period poverty often have to choose between purchasing period products or other essential items just to get by.

I’ve just donated to the March Dignity Drive to end period poverty.

Several charities have a high need for tampons right now.

Dignity Drive

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. We distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

A very good friend had an idea and brought it to fruition in a matter of months with the help/support of many in the community getting involved, grants, fundraising, donations, and a partnership with a local business. This can be done in any community! 💗
