@bontchev I've been thinking about "the end of geography" recently and I think that this quote is sort of in the same vein? Like (paraphrasing) "no country with a McDonald's wages war on its neighbours" sort of thing?

Anyway, I looked up the quote and apparently Bastiat never said it?
