We all understand the importance of physical hygiene. We wash our bodies every day to stay healthy. Emotional hygiene is just as important, but we often forget to do it.

Crying is a natural part of this hygiene. It is not a sign of a "broken" system. It is how the heart washes away the dust of old pain and betrayal. When we hold these feelings inside, they become "static" that clouds our vision.

Think of your tears as a way to clean your internal windows. By letting the sadness move through you, you are clearing the way to see the next level of your life. You are moving from a state of heavy "force" into a state of clear "power."

You are not falling behind by feeling your emotions. You are simply performing the maintenance needed for a long and happy journey. This is a deep act of self-respect that keeps your spirit bright and ready.

2of2: If you need to tell your friends you are staying in, keep it simple:

1. "Thanks for thinking of me, but I’m in a period of quiet rest and not making social plans right now"

2. "I value our friendship, but my battery is empty and I need this time at home to recharge"

3. "I’m focusing on my own recovery this week to start the year right, so I have to miss this one"

This is how you keep your energy clear and stop carrying old stress into a new year.

By protecting your internal rhythm, you ensure your frequency remains your own.

Creativity and Sensory Gating

It is possible that some risk factors that are associated with elevated psychopathology, such as leaky sensory gating, might also, in combination with other protective factors, be a "risk" factor for increased creative achievement.

2/2 Somatic Healing.

My own healing started with respecting my body. After using an electric heating pad gently for safety, I followed the ALOHA Way (our 5-step method) to make repair happen:

Attunement (Kindness): I used Tea Meditation to focus my mind and treat my body's needs with kindness, not blame.

Oscillation (Agreeableness): I then did Qigong movement. This intentional movement talks directly to the nervous system. It helps release the energy of grief and trauma. It moves the feeling state from Force (tension) to Power (flow).

Lightness, Harbouring, and Allowance: The rest was about resting more, creating a safe space using a gratitude journal, and accepting that this deep processing must take its own time.

We treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—to build a stable, strong system.

What is one Bottom-Up practice you honour in your life? Let's talk.

💔 Betrayal: The Core System Crash
I’m an Emotional Hygienist, and I know catastrophic system failure.

Betrayal cracked my life open, teaching me more in distress than comfort.

This is key: Emotional pain is physical trauma. If you skip the emotional wound, your body stores the blockage.

Healing your life means intentionally healing the pain held in the physical system.

I met the shadows in the wreckage. That pain became the blueprint for my unbreakable work.

I know what it feels like when your internal Operating System (OS) crashes. You are not defined by the pain, but by the powerful, resilient system you build next.

🌻 Your emotional system is the engine of your success. But if you’re always running on empty, you need more than self-care—you need Emotional Hygiene.

I'm a systems person, and I look to the beautiful plumeria for the perfect blueprint. The 5 petals of this flower mirror the five virtues that create Coherence and end energy waste:

1. Akahai (Kindness): The foundation of self-respect
2. Ha’aha’a (Humility): Knowing when to ask for help and when to rest
3. Lōkahi (Unity): Ensuring your mind and body work as one system
4. ʻOluʻolu (Agreeableness): The ability to adapt gracefully
5. Ahonui (Patience): The long-term view that prevents daily burnout

These 5 simple rules are how we build an unbreakable, thriving life.

Which one of the 5 needs your focus today?

1/2🌻 Hi Fedi Fam! I need to talk about why chasing just money blocks your success.

You deserve 5 kinds of abundance, not just one. 🚀

If your energy system is messy, your money flow will always be messy.

That's why I teach Emotional Hygiene, not just resilience.

What is Emotional Hygiene? It's the daily, proactive system (your Sovereign OS) you use to catch negative energy in seconds, not minutes.

It’s the difference between waiting 15 minutes to find clarity versus having it right now.
