Today's #Bridlewood #otbike #winterbike ride was interesting. After doing the #EmeraldMeadows pond (part of the path was still not cleared but snow packed and rideable) I headed toward #Trail24 at #OldQuarry and discovered it was still rideable. There were fat bike and ski tracks as well as parts packed from walking. However someone had been through on something that left a caterpillar track on it and i could not avoid it and every time my tires went over it it was like rumble strip on a highway causing the bike to slip and slide. When I got to the Trans Canada Trail I diverted to that which was not as smooth as the forest trail normally is but butter than dealing with the caterpillar tracks. I headed back home via the small and large hydro line paths.
