Chag Pesach Sameach, #OttCity! As families and friends gather for the Seder and retell the story of liberation, may this Passover bring joy, reflection, and connection. Wishing all who celebrate a meaningful holiday filled with warmth and tradition.
To celebrate #Ottawa200, we have a special discovery, a long‑lost “recording” of Colonel John By himself, captured circa 1830s during the construction of the Rideau Canal. You will hear him make some uncanny predictions about #OttCity's future. How accurate do you think he was? #AprilFools

I saw this article about coffee house Le Hibou in #Ottawa opening again in the local news this morning and thought I quickly share this 'paywall free' article with you. #ottcity

#Apple’s #weather forecast is increasingly atrocious. Last week, only 4-5 days ago, it predicted 37-45 cm of snow for coming Friday in #Ottawa, now it is forecasting +22C for that same day. I always assumed these apps all pull data from the same database. Meanwhile Environment Canada predicts 6C and rain. #ottcity
Freezing rain or drizzle is expected tomorrow and Wednesday, with total amounts of 20-40 mm possible. Sidewalks, roads, pathways and the winter cycling network may become icy. #OttCity crews will continue to monitor conditions and are ready to respond. More: https://bit.ly/3zAe1Mw
