Die Klimaaktivistin Ella saß nach der Räumung der Baumhäuser zur Verteidigung des Dannenröder Forsts 529 Tage in Haft. Sie erzählt in diesem sehr persönlich geschriebenen Buch von den Gerichtsprozessen, den Haftbedingungen und dem kräftezehrenden Kampf um kleinste Haftverbesserung wie etwa veganes Essen im Knast. Sie berichtet aber auch von der Solidarität im Gefängnis sowie der Unterstützung für ihren Kampf gegen Überwachungsmethoden, die Preisgabe ihrer Personalien und Passangaben sowie erkennungsdienstliche Behandlungen. Nach ihrem Verständnis hat der Staat nicht das Recht, über ihre Identität und damit ihre Individualität zu verfügen.Ella ist ein Pseudonym aus dem rückwärts gelesenen Wort „alle“. Ellas Geschichte steht also auch für all jene, die angesichts des Autowahn-Kapitalismus und seiner Wachstumsideologie für eine ökologische Utopie kämpfen und sich mit zivilem Ungehorsam den Repressionen durch Polizei, Justiz und Gefängnis widersetzen.

Today while working I saw some m0th€rfu(king scum with a pick up filled with Christmas trees going straight from the forest. Unfortunately I was not close enough to throw a rock at his window and confront him face to face. Disgusting what became of Christmas. A megalomaniac consumer jerk fest. Even here in Eastern Europe where it was not like that even a few decades ago. We need to push MUCH harder for a genuine eco-defence!! Earth is bleeding while idiots are laughing.
