last night, the day before #Apex2022, my car started overheating and just randomly shut off. turn out, even though my fiancé had gotten the car looked at in preparation for the trip, one the mechanics nicked the coolant system and broke it causing fluid to leak and drain. 🥶 🥵

spent the last 12hrs trying to secure a rental car, but nothing is available and the mechanic to fix the car won't come in until noon today. apex isn't possible for me anymore. i'm super pissed. 🤬

updated the rest of staff so they're prepped, and i'm wiring the pot bonus for #multiversus to payouts later today, but i'm still so upset i can't go. 😢 😫 😡

i really wanted to be there, especially since my last offline MVS event was #EVO2022. i even had plans to giveaway some of the limited-time post cards i got from Warner Brothers. now i have to spend the rest of the day figuring out car repair bills. 😵 🤯 😣

organizing tournaments is a fucking blowup. each and every goddamn time 😤

Amazon lands the right to produce a TV Series of Warhammer 40K and wants Henry Cavill

After a great deal of conversation in social due Henry Cavill losing the role of Geralt Of Rivia in the Netflix adaptation of the book series The Witcher and DCEU’s Superman, there was a strong rumor that a Warhammer 40K TV Series was in talks with Amazon Prime as the platform and have the actor involved. Today, Games Workshop and Amazon Studios finally confirmed the rumors and it is not just a TV series, but a whole cinematic universe of Warhammer 40K. For the first project, the TV Series, Henry Cavill will not only serve as the main protagonist, but also will be an executive producer and his involvement is due being a fan of the miniature tabletop and turned gaming franchise. “I have loved Warhammer since I was a boy, making this moment truly special for me. The opportunity to shepherd this cinematic universe from its inception is quite the honor and the responsibility”. Of course, it is just going to be a while when Amazon announces when the TV Series is ready to be included as part of the exclusives that have been given to Amazon Prime Video and let’s hope we are not years away.
