Today at #EDPD2022: "Violence against persons with disabilities".

But I’ve been hearing only about gender-based violence against women.

Yes, women are victimised more than men are, and often by men. But those are general population statistics. I wonder what the statistics are for women vs. men with disabilities – I bet they are very different.

And that’s not even considering non-binary and trans folks. They've not been mentioned today at all. It's as if they don't exist.
