Lets find out today how far my #E55 can go without a working alternator! I feel like I'm driving an EV with range anxiety....(Need to do a 20 min drive to workshop to replace the alternator)
After 211K miles and 19 years of service, it appears my #E55's alternator has finally packed in. 11.7V when engine is running (And falling), and a slight burning smell coming from the alternator!
Never thought I'd order a white #PCB, but I had to this time! JLCPCB did an amazing job😊. Now to get dual CANBUS working on this MCU to put my PC to sleep when my #e55 is off! Yes, the USB ports match colour!
