Motivated by an 11:00 #Dublin2029 meeting, I have done a lot of con stuff this afternoon for both the bid and my little residential con while watching the rather excellent #RWC2025 3rd/4th place match with #NZLvFRA proving to be exciting, but sadly not great so far if you're French!

Up early for the first #Dublin2029 day long open meeting. Looking forward to chatting with lots of fantastic volunteers and potential volunteers to push our #Worldcon bid forward!

Saturday of #Eastercon and it's a great buzz at the first Eastercon in Northern Ireland. And it's great to talk to people about #Dublin2029 and to see just how enthusiastic people are about it. Puts a spring in your step!

That was the #Octocon that was. Lots of good #Dublin2029 buzz and I had 3 good panels today. I was especially happy with the D&D one I moderated. Some really good comments about the power of TTRPGs for education, community building and mental well-being, as well as the fun!

At Erasmuscon in Rotterdam for the weekend. Doing more shilling for the #Dublin2029 #Worldcon bid, of course, but also engaging in great European fandom and being one of the Irish delegates for the ESFS business meeting. Oh, and hoping I might win the Best Promoter Hall of Fame award, maybe? :)

Busy day at #Octocon today! Two successful panels, much #Glasgow2024 and #Dublin2029 chat, and a progress report re: the latter at the Closing Ceremony. We're working towards having the first website up and running soon to take supports i and even more news & events in the new year!
