All of cable shouldn't exist. Someday every "channel" and "show" will be available easily from your choice of app on your choice of set top box (and desktop and mobile) cause everybody that makes video will be hosting their content using @peertube etc. We'll easily be able to automatically pay them for what we watch too, so no ads or paywalls are necessary. That's what the #fediverse and decentralized media promises. Way beyond killing Twitter.
