Jose was born 44 years ago in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo #DRC. Six years ago decided to leave his country and search for better life in Europe.

He had finally arrived in Europe, remained under arrest in Lesvos #Greece for six whole years. He survived the #Moria concentration camp fire, and was then held in Kara-Tepe concentration camp.

In February, Jose was found dead, having put an end to his life. His last act was to tie a knot around his neck and hang himself, after he had received yet one more rejection for his 6y old asylum application.
