I am utterly delighted (read: jumping up and down) that my favourite author KJ Charles has joined Mastodon a few days ago! I can't wait for her new books to be published: #DoomsdayBooks, and there is an audio book I don't know yet (Thief in the night). I read everything else.

Not only is she a terrific writer, she also posts hilarious, engaging socmed posts. I adore her blog posts about #writing, fantastic advice that makes you think.

I'm also somewhat freaked out that I'm going to have signed off #DoomsdayBooks 2, text and cover, long before book 1 is even out. This...does not happen in self publishing, to say the least.

Getting my copy edits back on #DoomsdayBooks 2 next week, so I'm going over the MS in preparation, and astounding myself with my ability to use the same word seven times across three consecutive paragraphs.
