Not shure if it's due to the #GeneralStrike that allegedly happened on 23.01.2026 in the #USA but I've seen #US #Corporations trying to #offset any reduction of #revenue with sudden #promotions and #discounts.

@eviloatmeal @c0debabe It's funny. I haven't given them money since they pulled the BS with not being able to wear #BLM / #BlackLivesMatter hats/pins/etc. in 2020...and I was barely shopping there before then.

Only when absolutely necessary because of their using #PrisonLabor...Then when they hit over 1 year (12/30/2022) of not having a contract despite having #Union shops, and using #BadFaith negotiations I was surprised how many people I know that are supposedly "Pro Union," but continue to give them money...

I guess that they only #DontCrossThePicketLine when it is convenient for them...

Thank you to friends and colleagues striking today. Fighting to make all our lives better, to allow us to see some future in academia. We aren't asking for much. Fair pay and better working conditions, particularly for ECR who suffer precarious contracts. There are so many dedicated staff, wanting to make a great student experience. Universities exploit this.
