@Mafalda @matt303 not all can be trained and many have difficulties settling into a new home. We were the third home for #TheHairyToddler as ex racers tend to have more difficulty adapting to being a pet. He was also apparently mistreated early in life and as a result fearful of men when he was in the #DogTrust. Thankfully wasn’t too bad with us but was still quite needy

@PVBuk yes. He’s thirteen now so we got him when he was very young. Apparently we were the third family to adopt him as he was returned twice to the #DogTrust. The lady who fostered him lives nearby and he gets very excited when he sees her. Doesn’t react to other greyhounds well (at least to dogs). Vet believes he has dementia which compounds his separation anxiety which is common enough with greyhounds
