Today she had her first check-up with her radiation oncologist since her treatment. In only four weeks, her tumors have already shrunk *significantly* and lymph nodes don't feel enlarged. It's wonderful that she's responded so well so quickly. Will continue to monitor and pursue other palliative support, too, but we just may have bought more quality time together (months rather than weeks).

Now to sleep off the effects of that trazodone.... 💤

She *insisted* we get up at 6:15am on this fine Sunday because she desperately required....a sweet potato treat. I'm glad we're not making mad dashes outside for urgent bathroom breaks at 3:00am anymore (she's in week three of recovering from her radiation treatments and doing a lot better now), but I really did want to sleep in a bit today.... Don't worry, she took herself back to bed after she finished her treats (I'm now wide awake 🙄)
